I graduated from university with a First Class Honours Degree, achieving the highest mark in my course and receiving the award for Outstanding Achievement in Media Production. I then completed a Master's Degree in Music Production with Distinction, also earning the highest mark.
I am fully DBS-checked, so you can have complete confidence in me as a teacher. I am also DBS checked with schools as a visiting music teacher for guitar.
I have taught guitar for over 10 years and understand that it can be very frustrating. I am always supportive and encouraging, and I will do everything I can to help you progress while still having fun!
ABOUT ME
I started playing the guitar age 10, passing grade 8 with distinction at 14. So, I really do appreciate how important it is to get a good reliable teacher for those important early lessons!
After playing as a guitarist in various bands, I then became a professional musician working both live and in the studio as a session and recording guitarist.
As an artist I have been fortunate to have played on radio, Television and at venues
such as the NIA Birmingham.
Throughout my professional career I have continued to teach Guitar at all levels and love to be able to share and pass on my skills to the next musical generation.
More recently I have moved in Music Production where I regularly produce and engineer recordings for bands and individuals.

If you are studying Music Production and are looking for extra help with work, or if you are looking to understand how to use certain recording software (DAW's), I also offer lessons on how to use Pro Tools (Industry Standard), Logic Pro X, and Reaper as well as teaching recording techniques and uses for spatial audio.
